Gerald David Troutwine

Gerald D. Troutwine, 86, Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away Feb. 3, 2016. Services will be 10 am, Monday, Feb. 8, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Gerald was born Feb. 4, 1929 in Independence, MO and graduated from William Chrisman High School. He worked at Western Electric in Lee’s Summit for over twenty years and attended church at The Village Church at John Knox Village. He was a member of the Elks Lodge at Laurie, MO. He enjoyed RV’ing, quail hunting, fishing and boating. Gerald was preceded in death by his wife Marcia Troutwine. He is survived by son Dr. Robert Troutwine and wife Nancy, Liberty, MO; daughters Cindy Wells and husband Don, Austin, TX; Gayle Troutwine, Jefferson City, MO; Nancy Deel and husband Doyle, Colorado Springs, CO; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
