Susan True

Susan E. True, 54, Independence, MO passed away July 2, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Sat., July 14 at Speaks Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055; cremation. Inurnment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Susan was born Jan. 3, 1958 in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of William Chrisman High School and was a life-long resident of Independence, MO. She worked for the I.R.S. for over twenty-five years. She was very family oriented and loved taking care of her many nieces and nephews.
Susan is survived by her mother, Norma Ashlock; brother John True, both of Independence, MO; niece Leslie Nicole True, Cave City, AR; uncles Jim Tann and wife Lola, Blue Springs, MO; John Tann and wife Janice; aunt Mary Hess, Independence, MO; cousins John Tann and wife Pam; Andy Tann; Brian Tann and wife Natalie; David Moss; Cheri Nau and husband Larry and many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
