Paula G. Tunks, 70, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011, surrounded by her family.
Paula was born July 14, 1941 in Independence, MO the second of four children to Jack and Bea Green. She was a 1960 graduate of Raytown High School. She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her loving husband David Tunks of 49 years; daughters, Kim Barnes and husband Keith of Raymore, MO; Traci Leslie and husband Mark of Hartland, WI; mother Bea Green of Blue Springs, MO; brothers, Jack Green and wife Judi of Lee’s Summit, MO; and Roger Green and wife Carol of Lee’s Summit; sister Michele “Mike” Wilson of Independence, MO; five grandchildren; one great grandchild as well as ten nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Lee’ Summit United Methodist Church; 114 SE Douglas, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care; 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64114.
