Joshua Turner Jr

Joshua “J.J.” Andrew Turner, 3, of Independence, MO passed away June 16, 2012. A visitation will be held from 8:30–10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Josh was born January 19, 2009 in Independence, MO to Joshua Andrew Turner and Dawn Marie (Rhodus) Turner. He was a loving child with a wonderful smile. He loved monkey’s and trips to the park. Josh was also a loving brother and teacher to his younger brother Shawn, who looked up to him. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Julia Borjon and Frank Sanchez; along with his paternal uncle. Josh is survived by his loving parents, Josh and Dawn Turner; brother, Shawn Patrick Turner; paternal grandpa, Ken Turner; maternal grandparents, Tom and Juanita Rhodus; paternal grandparents, Harry and Bonnie Sher; aunt and uncle, Meredith and Paul Duckworth; and a host of great uncles, aunts and cousins. J.J. will be dearly missed.
