Frank George Tuttle Jr. left us to be with his Heavenly Father on January 31, 2014. He was born on September 23, 1929 in Wyandotte, Kansas. Frank was preceded in death by his Wife of 53 years, Dorothy Mae Tuttle; his Son, Jeffrey Kent Tuttle; Sister, Frances Ferguson; and his Parents, Frank George Tuttle Sr. and Frances Luella Rowe. Frank leaves to cherish his memory two Sons, Roger Tuttle and wife Sharon of Independence, Frank Tuttle III and wife Leslie of Excelsior Springs; two Daughters, Deena Graham and husband Rod of Independence and Dawna Christofferson and husband Dick of Lee’s Summit; Grandson’s Christopher Graham and wife Angela, Ryan Graham; and Granddaughter Jennifer Tuttle and Chris Pittman. Frank is also survived by two Great Granddaughters, Katelyn and Kyra Pittman; and one Great Grandson, Aaron Malott; Sister-in-Law, Virginia Ferguson, and many nieces and nephews. Frank has spent several of his recent years attending Vesper Hall in Blue Springs where he volunteered daily. He made many close and personal friends and also kept a full schedule of weekly evening activities with a group he referred to as “The Vesper Gang”. He was a graduate of William Chrisman High School and served in the Korean War. Frank retired from The Bendix Corporation with 32 years of service in various positions, and was a 53-year Member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion. Frank was a licensed Real Estate Agent, a Certified Leavenworth Federal Penitentiary Minister along with being a Lifetime member of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International and the Business Men’s Fellowship USA. He was Co-founder of the Mustard Seed Ministries, a Ministry of Love in Jesus, and Co-founder of the Mustard Seed Times, a monthly Newsletter to promote the Love of Jesus. Frank was a Godly Man. He would never pass up an opportunity to offer a prayer to someone who was ill or in need. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm, on Wednesday, February 5th, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6th, at 10:00am at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Six Mile Cemetery, in Independence.
