Michael Urban

Michael G. Urban, 67, Kansas City, MO passed away Nov. 10. 2013. Services will be at 2 pm, Sat., Nov. 16 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; cremation. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Metro Lutheran Ministries, 3031 Holmes, Kansas City, MO 64109.
Michael was born Oct. 30, 1946 in Flint, MI. He was the owner of Appliance Service Company of Greater Kansas City from 1970 until 2002. He loved Chiefs football and was a season ticket holder from back in the days at old Municipal Stadium. He also loved Las Vegas and took many trips there. He was a Catholic.
Michael is survived by his wife of twenty years Kalah Urban, of the home; daughter Michelle Lovelace and husband Excell, Blue Springs, MO; son Chris Urban and wife Dina, Glencoe, MN; daughters Anita Urban-Gardner and husband Johnny, Kansas City, MO; Kim Ross and husband Joe, Independence, MO; Shelly Helsig and husband Justin, Blue Springs, MO; January West, Kansas City, MO; sister Anna Marie Urban, North Kansas City, MO; mother Ann C. Urban, Kansas City, MO; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
