Antoinette Van Der Weele

Antoinette "Netty� Josephine van der Weele, 77, of Independence, formerly of Potwin, KS, passed away, Sunday, November 21, 2004 in Independence, MO where she lived for the past 1 � years. Cremation with a private memorial service is planned. Memorial contributions may be made to Powell Gardens at 1609 N.W. US Highway 50 Kingsville, MO., 64061. Netty was born February 12 , 1927 in s�Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. Netty, her husband Marinus and children: Johanna Patch Schulenberg, Independence, MO; Louisa Steinhoff, Chicago area; and Marinus, Jr., Paola, KS., immigrated to the United States from the Netherlands in 1957. Netty is survived by her husband, children, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A brother survives in Rouen, France, and a sister in Rijswijk, Netherlands. Netty worked for Beech Aircraft (Raytheon) for 22 years before retiring in 1988. She was an avid bowler and gardener for many years.
