Joyce Mae Van Hoosier

Joyce Mae Van Hoosier, 43 of Independence, passed away Thu, Apr. 14, 2005 at St. Joseph Health Center. Visitation will be from 1 - 3:00 pm, Fri, Apr. 22, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with the service being held at 3:00 pm. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Joyce was born on Oct. 15, 1961 to Lars and Marion (Mitchell) Hedberg in Kansas City, MO and was a lifelong area resident. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed doing crafts and art and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father in 1962 and by a sister, Jolene Hedberg in 1957. Joyce is survived by her husband, Gary Van Hoosier of Independence. A son, Trevor Hudson of Independence. A daughter, Leah Smith of Colombia, MO. Her mother and step father, Marion and Joe Bridgeford of Independence. Four siblings, Jackie Hedberg of Lee�s Summit, MO, Joan Baker of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Merriman of Independence and Janice Jester of Milton, IA and by several
nieces and nephews.
