Carol Ann Vaughn (Vincent)

Carol Ann Vaughn, 56, of Independence Missouri, died Thursday July 31, 2014, at Truman Medical Center Hospital Hill. She was born March 31, 1958, in Galveston, Texas, the daughter of Carl Vincent and Anna Carker.

Carol attended Hitchcock High in Texas. She was in the class of 1977. She was well traveled and lived in many places throughout Texas, Kansas and Missouri. In 2009 Carol started work for B&W Investment Properties in Kansas City as a property manager. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, crosswords, watching movies, reading and spending time with her friends, family and children.

She is survived by her spouse Norman Moulder of Independence, Mo.; four children, Ricky Vaughn of Houston TX, and Rachel Moulder of Independence Mo., Jessica Moulder and Caleb Moulder of Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Amelia Vaughn, Ricky Vaughn III, and Lilyth Moulder. Her surviving siblings are Carl Vincent, Jr, Richard Burns, Brenda Campbell, Kelly Tone, Shan Russell, Mike O’Steen, William Burns, and Lenny Burns.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Vincent, her mother, Anna Burns, and her stepmother, Janice Vincent who she was very close to.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 5th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Speaks Funeral Home. The family will be there until 8:00 p.m. to greet relatives and friends.
