Josphine Vereecke

Josephine Vereecke, Cherished Mother and Grandmother, Age 95 of Independence Mo. passed away Friday Jan. 2, 2004 at the Independence Regional Medical Center. A Mass Of Christina burial will be held at 11:00 A M. Tuesday at St Ceryl Catholic Church, a rosary Service at 7:00 P M Monday with visitation from 4:00 P M until 7:30 P. M. at the Speaks Midtown Chapel, burial will be in Mt. Olivetti Cemetery. Josephine was born Feb. 9, 1908 at Shawnee, KS the Daughter of Camiele and Julia Leona (Brunel) DeBoever. She was a seamstress for a Garment Co. and a member of St Ann Catholic Church; She is Survived By 2 Sons James Vereecke of Independence. Mo. and Joseph Vereecke of Drury, Mo. one daughter Mrs. Julia Wallace of St. Louis, Mo. 19 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great and Several Nieces and nephews, She was Preceded in death by her husband Maurice, her eldest son John, 3 Sisters and 2 Brothers. She was the last of the DeBoever family.
