James Ronald "Jim" Villers

Jim Villers, 68, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away unexpectedly December 29, 2015. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO, 64055 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. Jim was born March 5, 1947 in Lexington, MO to Jim and Mildred (Ray) Villers. He worked for 38 years at Ford Motor Company as a Master Paint Mixer and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He loved music, making guitars, landscaping and cooking. Jim will be remembered as a jokester but also a giver. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Fay, of the home; son David Villers and wife Sarah of Lee’s Summit, MO; brother Rick Villers and wife Cathy of Blue Springs, MO; niece Kristen Cooper of Blue Springs, MO; nephew Brian Villers of Milwaukee, WI; granddaughter Minnie Villers; and stepfather Earl Zink of Warsaw, MO.
