Virginia Rose Klussman Knoche, age 91 years, passed away on March 10, 2025 in Independence, Missouri. Born on April 2, 1933 to Charles Henry Fieth and Emma Marie (Boedeker) Fieth in Mayview, Missouri. Virginia’s journey through life was marked by love, family and a passionate pursuit of her interests.
Virginia married Vernon Henry Klussman on February 10, 1956, and together they created a family and enjoyed 40 years together. All felt a deep loss in the passing of Vernon in 1996. Later, Virginia married Edwin Knoche on October 14, 2002 and started another chapter in her life. Virginia’s devotion to her family and friends was a priority throughout her life.
She was an accomplished quilter, enjoyed activities through her church and in later years became passionate about dancing. She enjoyed Western Swing, polka and waltzing regularly in Marshall, Higginsville, and Kearney, Missouri. And, occasionally traveled to weekend dance events throughout the midwest.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Knoche, daughters Donna Short (Kenneth) and Carol Simmons (Rick). As well as many extended family members. Virginia is now reunited with her late husband, Vernon Klussman; as well as her parents Charles and Emma Fieth.
A Graveside Service for Virginia will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Odessa Cemetery in Odessa, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Virginia’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
