Annabelle Wagner, of Buckner, MO, a very strong-willed woman, who lived to give and was the glue that held her family together, went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2021. She was 95 years old. Annabelle was born on May 18, 1926 in Fayette, Missouri, to Ishmael and Grace Keith. In 1961, she married the love of her life, Dallas Wagner and together they raised 5 children: James, David, Marcia, Carl, and Dallas Jr. She was a super-mom, super-grandma, and a super-woman. Her family was her biggest blessing. Annabelle took extreme pride in being a homemaker, and always made whoever came into her home welcome. As a devout Christian, Annabelle was a proud member of Living Waters Family Worship Center in Buckner. Her family and friends knew her as one who was a natural caretaker, who was loving, kind-hearted and always kept her hands busy. In her spare time, Annabelle enjoyed oil painting, canning, and gardening, always sharing her produce with others in the neighborhood. She was a fashionista who loved wearing her heels, all the way into her 80’s! She was often opinionated and never shy to speak her mind. Annabelle enjoyed cooking and would feed anyone and everyone, as she didn’t want anyone to be hungry. Her fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese were her signature dishes that will be missed by many. Annabelle is survived by her children, Marcia Lynn Francis, David Bruce Patrick and wife Gerrie M., Carl Ray Wagner, and wife Kitty; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Gloria. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Dallas Claude Wagner; sons, Dallas Wagner, Jr., and Jimmy Wagner; granddaughter, Rebekah Ann Bears; sister, Evelyn Patrick; and her parents.
