Mary Jeanette Grammens Wagner, 86 of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church 8001 Longview Rd., Kansas City, MO 64134. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be made in her name to the St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care or to the Little Sisters of the Poor. Jeanette was born November 11, 1930 in Kansas City, MO to Edward and Margurite (Marreel) Grammens and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker who enjoyed crafts and volunteering her time at Little Sisters of the Poor. She was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include; 4 daughters, Rene’ Horne of Lenexa, KS, Terry (Larry) Bladt of St. Louis, MO, Shelley Wagner of Lenexa, KS, Carol (Craig) Clark of Belton, MO and a son, Matthew (Marquette) Wagner of Paola, KS; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Marion William Wagner in 2005.
