Gladys Waight, 88 of Raymore, MO passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Foxwood Springs Nursing Center, Raymore, MO. Services 10:00 am Friday, August 29, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home with visitation from 9-10 am prior to the services. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to American Diabetes Association or Fellowship of John, 1500 W. Foxwood Dr., P.O. Box 1400, Raymore, MO 64083. Mrs. Waight was born April 7, 1915 in Bates City, MO the daughter of Bates & Arthusia J. Perrine Miller. She was active in Eastern Star Mt. Washington Chapter #423 and Past-President of Social Order of Beauceant in Independence, MO, was a member of South Haven Baptist Church, Belton, MO. Survivors include her loving husband Myron B. Waight of the home, her only son Eugene Waight and wife Esther, Raymore, MO, one sister, Opal Spahr and husband William, Independence, MO and many nieces.
