Allen Arthur "Al" Waite Jr.

Allen Arthur Waite, Jr. 87, Belton, MO passed away Dec. 24, 2015. Cremation with inurnment to follow at a later date at Milton Lawn Cemetery, Janesville, WI. The family requests contributions to St.. Josephs’ Indian School, P.O. Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326. Allen was born Feb. 2, 1928 in Janesville, WI. He served twenty-four years in the U.S. Army with tours of duty in WW II, Korea and Vietnam and was an expert marksman. Following his retirement from the Army, he began a seventeen-year career at the Federal Reserve. After his retirement from there, he worked at American Firearms in Grandview. He was a member of the VFW, DAV and NRA. He enjoyed shooting, hunting and fishing. Al was preceded in death by daughters Donna Swink and Linda Waite, sister Carol Moran and great-granddaughter Haleigh Wyatt. He is survived by daughter Elaine Wyatt; grandson Greg Wyatt and wife Monica; great-granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kara Wyatt, all of Louisville, KY
