Delores Walkenshaw

Delores Faye “Ikey” Walkenshaw, 71, of Grandview, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Grandview Manor Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Delores was born March 16, 1936 in Flippin, AR to Arthur and Edna (White) Woods. She retired from TWA in 1997 after 30 years of service. Ikey was very proud of her family, raising three sons on her own. Ms. Walkenshaw loved to bowl in her spare time. She is survived by her sons Larry Walkenshaw, Steve Walkenshaw and wife Cindy, Guy Walkenshaw; grandchildren Jesse, Melonie, Tyler and Kyle; great-grandson Isaac; sisters Otherine, Ernestine, Shirley and Susie.
