Hayward Rex Walker, 77 of Kansas City, Mo passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Brooking Cemetery in Raytown, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Hayward was born October 14, 1944 in Eldorado, IL to Hayward Douglas and Margaret Lucille (Summers) Walker and has been a longtime area resident. He was a steel worker and had worked in the steel manufacturing industry for a number of years. He is survived by; 4 children, Mickey, Elizabeth, Jessie and Paultricia; a sister, Sandra L. Young; a brother, Roger Walker; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Patsy Walker, his parents and 3 brothers, Terry David, Jerry and Kerry Michael.
