Brandon Kent Wallace, 35, passed away on July 30, 2017. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3, from 2-4 p.m., with service to follow at 4 p.m., both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055
Brandon was born on April 9, 1982, in Katy, Texas, to Kenneth and Debra (Roach) Wallace. He was active in football and track for Liberty High School, and graduated in the class of 2000. He worked for Southwest Airlines as a ramp agent for 8 years. He married his best friend, Kathryn Slimane, in 2005. He also worked for Stables Bar & Grill, where he was a line cook. He was a current employee of Burd & Fletcher.
Brandon was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. He was considerate, kind, outgoing, and had a great sense of humor. He was passionate about all types of music and reading. He enjoyed keeping physically active with his 6-year-old Lab/Mastiff mix, Cooper. Above all, he loved serving the Lord, praying, and reading his Bible.
Brandon is survived by his wife of 11 years, Katie; beloved dog, Cooper; parents, Ken and Debbie Wallace; siblings, Ryan Wallace (and wife, Frankie) and Shara Wallace; nieces and nephews: Olivia, Nathaniel, and Payton Wallace, Edmond and Jackson Slimane, and Dillon Reed; and paternal grandmother, Gayle Cribbett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
