Sarah A. Walls, 86, of Independence, MO passed away January 24, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial to follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Sarah was born June 29, 1927 in Buick, MO to George and Martha (Kasak) Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl David Walls; sisters, Martha Kehl and Justine McNish; and brother, Earl Barrett. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Walls) Correll and husband William; grandsons, David Steward and Carl Steward and wife B.J.; great granddaughters, Jeannell Kahrs and Miranda Baschke; great grandson, Billy Dean Steward; nine step grandkids; and many step great grandkids.
