Emma A. Ward

Emma A. Ward, 93, of Lee�s Summit, MO, passed away at Lee�s Summit Hospital on Tuesday December 14th. Services will be 2:00 pm Thursday December 16th at Lee�s Summit United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation to follow. Private interment in Lee�s Summit Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Powell Gardens, 1609 NW US Highway 50, Kingsville, MO 64061-9000. Emma was born December 24, 1910 in Nevada, MO to Carl and Stella (Martin) Stephenson. Mrs. Ward was a long time member of Lee�s Summit United Methodist Church. Emma had a lifelong love of music and fashion. Mrs. Ward was a member of the PEO. Emma is survived by her daughter Patricia Manes of Lee�s Summit, MO; granddaughter Darra Draheim and husband Richard of Lee�s Summit, MO; grandson Ward Manes of Kansas City, MO; great-grandchildren Jonathan and Elizabeth Draheim. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Ward and son-in-law Darrell Manes.
