James E. “Jim” Ward, 56, Independence, MO died Nov. 7, 2013. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be at 2 pm, Monday, Nov. 11 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; cremation. Visitation will be 3-5 pm, Sunday at the chapel.
Jim was born Oct. 1, 1957 in Kansas City, MO and attended Van Horn High School. He enjoyed fishing for catfish and working out. Jim is survived by sister Cheryl Murry and husband Donald; brother Wayne Ward; nieces Jennie Rooks and husband Marty; Teri Warkins and husband Mike, all of Independence, MO; Maryann Brooks, Castle Rock, CO; nephews David Murry and Cody Sanders, both of Independence, MO.
