Kevin Eugene Wardlow, 58 of Pleasant Hill, MO passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Tuesday at the chapel. Donations may be made in his name to Furry Kids Refuge or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Kevin was born August 31, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Merle and Ellen (Murren) Wardlow and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Northeast High School in 1977. He had worked as a Project Manager for Wilson Plumbing from 1988-2008, Genesis Plumbing and most recently for Trekk Design Company. He enjoyed bowling, NASCAR was an avid KC Chiefs and Royals fan. He was a family man who raised his 3 daughters on his own, even serving as Girl Scout leader, and thoroughly enjoyed being Papa to his grandchildren. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #41. Survivors include; his loving wife, Pamela (Bunch) of the home; 3 daughters, April Wardlow of Kansas City, MO, Linda Williams (Brian) of Levasy, MO and Kellie Wardlow (Donovan) of Sugar Creek, MO; 3 step children, Mike Payne (Laura) of Odessa, MO, April Payne (EJ) and Amy Payne all of Pleasant Hill, MO; siblings, Ann Boyland (John), Robert “Pete” Wardlow (Lana), David Wardlow (Debra), James Wardlow (Carol) and Carolyn Bruns; 12 grandchildren, Alexus, Coressa, Caitlynn, Kaleb, Blake, Lea, Quincy, Eternity, Kaden, Maurice, David and Jaden and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Keith Wardlow, a nephew and a grandchild.
