Patricia Ann “Patti” Warnock, 77, of Blue Springs, MO, was born May 14, 1941, in Bay Minette, AL and passed away March 1, 2019. Patti graduated from Baldwin County High School in Bay Minette, AL. She attended the University of Alabama for one year, then transferred to Graceland College in Lamoni, IA, where she graduated with an Associate Degree in Home Economics. For several years, Patricia worked in the offices of Dr. Jack Redden and Dr. Fred Hahn. Always ready for an adventure, Patti happily kept up with her husband and three sons. She received her Scuba Diving Certification and dove in Grand Cayman and Florida. She skied in Colorado, Utah, and in the Alps. Patti enjoyed snow and water skiing into her late sixties, and she and her husband, Jerry, enjoyed motorcycling with friends in their retirement. Traveling was a love of Patti’s, and she and Jerry had the opportunity to visit six continents, often accompanied on their trips by dear friends. In 1988, Patti traveled alone to Seoul, South Korea, to pick up a 10-week-old baby girl for friends, expediting the adoption process. Patti especially looked forward to the Branson/Table Rock weekend with her children and grandchildren each August, as well as family ski trips to Winter Park, CO. Patti enjoyed flower gardening, working out at “the club”, playing piano, and singing. She sang in the Metropolitan Chorale of Kansas City, and performed in The Independence Messiah Choir for many years. Patti was a member of the Good Shepherd Community of Christ congregation, and Independence Young Matrons .Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Jack E. Page and Helen (Bozone) Page of Bay Minette, AL.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry Warnock; sons Greg (Christi) Warnock; Jeff (Amy) Warnock; and Steve (Mary) Warnock; grandchildren Colin Warnock; Katie (John) Spurlock and daughter Caroline; Michael Warnock; Tyler Warnock (Megan) and daughters Lucy, Avery Patricia, and Charlotte; Mitchell (Ashley) and son Jimmy; Allison Warnock; Andrew Warnock; Samuel Warnock; Alexis Warnock; Amanda Stangl; and Alison Stangl; brother Eddie (Ruth) Page of Panama City, FL; brother-in-law Jim (Linda) Warnock; sisters-in-law Sally Closson; Susie Warnock; and Janie (Stan) Epstein; many nieces and nephews; and goddaughter Lauren Garcia.
The family would like to thank the aides and caregivers who took such good care of Patti over the past year.
A Memorial Service with a visitation immediately following will be held at 10:00am Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Good Shepherd congregation of the Community of Christ Church, 4341 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
