Owen Waters

Owen Waters, 85 of Clinton, MO passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2003 at the Westwood Nursing Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be 1:00 P M Friday at the George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions are suggested to a local Humane Society. Mr. Waters was born on Jan 9, 1918 to William and Anna Waters in Sugar Creek, MO and had lived in this area until moving to Clinton, MO a few years ago. He had been an Accountant with the Santa Fe Railroad retiring in 1968. He then became a Landlord and an Investor. He was an Army veteran of WWII and had received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. Owen loved and cherished all animals especially his dog, Princess. He is survived by his former wife, Goldie Sivil of Independence, MO. A niece, Darlene Robinett of Jefferson City, MO. A nephew, Eric J. Wieligman of Blue Springs, MO. Owen is also survived by his close friends, Andra & Justin Johnson of Clinton.
