Harold Wayne Oliver, 85, of Independence, MO, passed away on April 04, 2024, at Centerpoint Medical Center. He was born in Lequire, OK to Lily (Bray) and Jack Oliver on June 25, 1938.
Wayne drove a truck most of his life and was known by all as Bumblebee. He had one of the best "sign offs" in the industry. His charm and wit drew people to him, he was a light to a lot of people. Wayne would tell great stories and loved to tell jokes. Wayne was a very giving man and would go out of his way to help others. Nothing came before the love of his family.
Wayne is preceded and reunited in death by his parents Lily and Jack Oliver, his wife June Oliver, only sister Sue Linn, brother Jackie Oliver, and stepson Jerry Swanson
Wayne is survived by son Joseph Wayne Oliver, stepchildren Ralph Eddy Swanson and Marcy Swanson Taylor, brothers Leon Oliver, J.C. Oliver, Kenneth Oliver, and Jerry Oliver, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Wayne on Friday, April 26, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel(1501 W. Lexington Independence, MO) to celebrate his life. Wayne's final resting place will be Sans Bois Cemetery in Kinta, OK.
