Shirley Ann Weddle (Doores)

Shirley Ann Weddle, 75, Tightwad, MO, formerly of Blue Springs, MO, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2017. Services will be 10 am, Monday, June 19 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 3-5 pm, Sunday at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the American Heart Assoc., 6800 93rd St, Overland Park, KS 66212.
Shirley was born July 24, 1941 in Rochester, Michigan to Joseph Leroy and Ola Delores (Emery) Dorres. She graduated from Grandview High School in the Class of 1959. She lived in Blue Springs until 1991 when she and husband, Dave, moved to Truman Lake. She loved her family deeply. She enjoyed dancing, fishing, traveling, Bingo and music. She could light up a room with her smile and laugh and make you feel better with a hug.
Shirley leaves her husband of fifty-six years David Weddle; her children: Brian Weddle and wife Lori, Brad Weddle and wife Renee; five grandchildren: Jacob, Aaron, Brittany, Nathan and Katie; four great-grandchildren: Vann, Benyt, Kai and Jewyll; brothers Jim and Bill Doores and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Brent.
