M. Joy Wehling

M. Joy Wehling, 77, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, December 01, 2004 at Independence Regional Health Center. A memorial service will be from 2 to 3 pm Sunday, December 12th at Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch. Contrubutions are suggested to Center Place Restoration School, 819 W. Waldo, Indep. MO 64050 or Third Floor Activities at Rosewood Health Center. Joy was born March 10, 1927 in Peoria, IL to Morris and Mildred Howell Herdan. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at Independence Regional Health Center, and a faithful member of Waldo Avenue Restoration Branch. During the last four years she was a resident of Rosewood Health Center. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerry Herdan, and is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert E. Wehling; daughter, Clarissa Joy Wehling of Independence, MO; a son, Randal E. Wehling of Gardner, KS
