Steven Weinberg

Steven Weinberg, 57, of Lees Summit, MO, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 after a motorcycle accident in Raytown, MO. A visitation will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, Cremation. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, at the Noland Road Baptist Church, Independence, MO. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Steve was born April 26, 1950 in Harrisonville, MO. He proudly served and retired from the K.C. Police Dept. He loved motorcycles and was a member of the Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motor Club. He also coordinated the K.C. to D.C. law ride for the National Law Officer Memorial for 11 years. Steve is survived by his wife 10 years, Rose Harrison-Weinberg; son David Weinberg and wife Stephanie and daughters Riley and Abigail; daughter Kelly Williams and her daughter Weslynn; daughter Stephanie Burkhalter and husband Glenn, son Devon and daughter Valerie. Steve was preceeded in death by his parents Leo and Lena Weinberg, and brother Michael.
