Hazel Mae Welsh (Ferro)

Hazel Welsh, 95, of Independence, MO passed away January 1, 2015. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Graveside services at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Deepwater Cemetery in Deepwater, MO. Hazel was born May 1, 1919 in Leesville, MO to Antonio and Nettie (Sullivan) Ferro. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.K. Welsh; and eight siblings. Hazel is survived by her daughter, Donita Doctor and husband Craig; grandson, Brian Doctor and wife Jennifer; granddaughter, Sheri Thomson and husband Rob; four great grandchildren; and sister, Juanita Ferro.
