Vicki R. Welsh passed away on January, 22 2006 at 6:14 PM, peacefully at her home in Blue Springs Missouri after battling ovarian cancer for 3 1/2 years. A visitation will be held from 6-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the chapel with burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. She was saved, and therefore now pain free and living eternally with the Lord Jesus Christ who is our great God and Savior, and all other saved people in Heaven. We are rejoicing in her salvation and so thankful that God has delivered her from all pain. Forevermore, "I ask you to consider your own salvation; do you know where you are going when you die? If your answer is uncertain, then you need to open your heart and pray to the Lord to guide you to him.� Vicki was born on July 6, 1953 at St. Luke�s Kansas City. Her parents were Jerald and Arlene Fox. She is preceded by her father Jerald and a sister Patrica Sue Fox. She is survived by her husband David E. Welsh, Mother, Arlene Fox, of Raytown Mo. and a brother Jerre Fox of Kansas City Mo. and many nieces and nephews. Vicki graduated from Raytown High school and received a BA degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Vicki was employed with Hallmark Cards for 17 years. Vicki married her husband David Welsh on November 10, 1972. Together they shared their love for each other for 33 years! Vicki loved to garden, read, oil paint, horse back ride and most of all travel. She had the great opportunity of seeing many countries through out the years with her husband and good friends, Mike and Debbie Grazda. As your husband I was honored and privileged, to have assisted you through out your illness. A special thank�s to Dr. Verda Hunter and her wonderful staff, Crossroads Hospice and their nurse Jodi Cammack, as well as the nurse�s of the 7th floor cancer ward of Research Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. Thank you for all the nice cards that were received by her daily! Vicki was a sure testimony of her faith, to all that knew her, she had a beautiful smile and a remarkable attitude. Clear to the day she departed us, she never complained! We all love you Vicki, and will not forget you!
