On Friday, February 12, 2021, Connor Jacob Wescoat, of Independence, MO, a thoughtful man, who always put others first, passed away at the age of 25. Connor was born on February 22, 1995 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Mike Wescoat and Buffie Wescoat-Peters. He and his longtime spouse, Kristina Seifert-Wescoat welcomed their son, Carter Jacob Wescoat, the apple of their eyes. Connor has always been the most loving father, loyal and devoted to his family. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals, Chiefs and Mizzou. He enjoyed the mountains and visited Colorado with family and friends on numerous occasions.
Connor is survived by his wife and son, Kristina Seifert-Wescoat and Carter Wescoat; Parents, Michael and Rebecca Wescoat and Buffie Wescoat-Peters and Darvin Peters; Siblings, Cameron and wife Jessica Wescoat; Beloved nephew, Camden Wescoat; Grandparents, Shirley Young, Gaye and Phil Hergert, Mary Henson, Lois Stroud; Aunts and Uncles, Lori and Raymond Sales, Cindy Johnson, Angel Henson, Ginger Kellar-Parker, Jamie Kellar, Melisa Quinn, Katy Clary, Chuck and Peggy Farthling, Bobbie Stewart, David and Julie Stroud and Kathy McMillin and Cousins, Jagger Carter, Raymond Sales, Jordan Hale, Dylan Kellar, Deone Kellar and Trevor Kellar.
The visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. in Independence, MO. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held for the family. Connor will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence, MO.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Mahomes Foundation.
