Edward M. White

Edward M. White, 77, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, August 14, 2004 at Independence Manor Care. A memorial service will be 2 pm Saturday, August 21st at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 pm until service time. Edward was born April 8, 1927 in Miami, MO to Walter and Nellie Belle White. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Navy. Edward was a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church. He retired as a manufacturing superintendent at Allis Chalmers after over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years, Helen Marie White, and 2 brothers. Edward is survived by his sons, Eddie White, and Steve White both of Independence, MO.
