Greg Alan White, 59, of Independence, MO passed away peacefully in his home on September 9, 2021.
Son of Richard and Barbara White, Greg was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many. In Greg’s early years, he enjoyed spending a lot of his time at the Lake of the Ozarks where he would water ski, fish, boat and participate in many other outdoor activities. His love for the lake continued throughout his lifetime. After graduating from Truman High School in 1980, he attended Missouri State University and studied cartography. He was a member of the fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon, where he established lifelong bonds within his brotherhood. Greg went on to marry Cynthia Harms in 1985 and together they were blessed with four children. Greg was a proud and loving father. Greg valued spending his days with his closest friends and family. Throughout his career, Greg was a jack of all trades. He was the owner of Greyson Enterprises Bakery Route and also worked at Copy-Rite Printing and Sunburst Satellite.
Everyone who knew Greg knew that his passions were spending time with his friends and family and being on the water with a good sunset. One of Greg’s favorite hobbies was playing softball where he created many friendships.
