Greyson Emmett White, 22 of Independence, MO passed away, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Truman Medical Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2010 at the Noland Road Baptist Church 4505 S. Noland Rd. Independence, MO. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the church. Donations may be made in his name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 17200 E. 39th Street Independence, MO 64055 or to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Greyson was born June 7, 1988 in Blue Springs, MO to Greg and Cindy (Harms) White and has been a lifelong area resident. Greyson had a sense of humor that brought laughter to every occasion. He was a kind and loving young man who saw the good in everyone. He had worked as Graphic Design Artist both self employed and for Copy-Rite Printing in Independence. Greyson enjoyed designing websites, basketball, working out, disc golf and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Birchwood Baptist Church and had attended Truman High School. He is survived by his parents; mother, Cindy Harms Cleghorn and her husband Jeff and father Greg White all of Independence, MO; siblings, Garrett White, Courtney White, Chelsea White and Alex Cleghorn all of Independence, MO and Danielle Cleghorn of Springfield, MO; grandparents, Lou Harms and Richard and Barbara White all of Independence, MO; uncles, David Harms (Sandy), Rick Harms, Randy Harms (Rose) and David White, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Ellen Harms and Betty Cleghorn.
