Rosa Lee White

Rosa Lee White, 93, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, June 23, 2003. Services will be 2 pm Thursday, June 26th at Speaks Midtown Chapel; with interment in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Chapel. Rosa had worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, MO for most of her lifelong career in the nursing field. She was a beloved mother and grandmother. Most of her life was dedicated to the building of her family and more specifically to the upbringing of the children in her family. She touched many, many people over the years with her mercy and kindness. Rosa was also a devoted believer in Christ Jesus and was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Bates City, MO. Rosa is survived by her daughter, Bobby Young of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Victor Young, Lori Schreck, Jacky Deyaeghere, Nancy Hilburn, Greg Thompson, and Sue Thompson; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Her tenderness and selfless giving has touched us all and will be remembered always.
