Pauline Wickham

Mary Pauline Wickham, 85, of Smithville, MO passed away Monday, March 1, 2004 at Beverly Health Care, Smithville, MO. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 6, at the Geo. C. Carson and Son�s Funeral Home with the burial at Mount Washington Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Friday at the chapel. Contributions may be sent to the Salvation Army. Pauline was born on July 27, 1918 in Padonia, KS to John and Nettie Carpenter. She worked for 20 years as a Legal Secretary for the Jackson County Juvenile Court. Pauline loved traveling, as well as relaxing at her lake house in the Ozarks. She was a long time member of the Bethany Baptist Church, KC, MO. Pauline will always be known by her family as the "World�s Best Mom and Grandma.� She is survived by her son, Louis Charles Wickham and wife Amy; daughter, Susan Schaeffer-Oakes; two grandsons, James Michael and David Eric Schaeffer; two granddaughters, Michelle Schaeffer and Elizabeth Anne Wickham; and two great-granddaughters, Adriane and Stephanie Schaeffer.
