Anna Elizabeth "Beth" Wikoff (Gunzel)

Anna Elizabeth “Beth” Wikoff, 92 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Friday, March 23, 2018. Beth was born April 22, 1925 in Shawneetown, IL to John and Myrtle (Curtis) Gunzel. She spent her early life in Illinois before the family moved to Independence, MO. She attended Graceland College and later received her BS in Education from CMSU. She taught school for the Independence School District 17 years. She enjoyed bird watching, sewing, bowling, bridge, reading, hiking and traveling with her husband. She was a charter member of the Gudgell Park Community of Christ Church and the Independence Retired Teachers Association. Survivors include 2 sons, Doug (Debbie) Wikoff of Punta Gorda, FL and Brad (Karen) Wikoff of Lenexa, KS; 4 grandchildren, Brandi Wikoff, Shannon (Gary) Pflumm, Brandon (Cezanne) Wikoff, and Lindsay (Micah) Walz; 7 great grandchildren, Georgia and Greenlee Wikoff, Liam and Lilly Walz, Jayla Levine, Caleb and Lucas Pflumm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Wikoff, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Gudgell Park Community of Christ Church, 500 Gudgell Ave, Independence, MO 64055.
