Vernon A. Willett, 81, Independence, Mo. died at his home May 6, 2004. Graveside services will be 10 am, Monday, May 10, at Mound Grove Cemetery. Vernon was born June 11, 1922, to William Ernest and Mary Franke (Butler) Willett. He enjoyed golf, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Teri Willett; granddaughter, Sarah Otto and husband Jeff; and grandsons Jesse Willett and Anthony Willett, all of Independence, MO.
