William "Bill" Albert Wanamaker

William "Bill" Albert Wanamaker, known fondly as Bill, was a beloved member of the community who touched the lives of many. Bill's walk ended peacefully on April 2, 2024 in Independence, Missouri. He was 73 years old.

Bill was born in Nyack, New York, on February 19, 1951, to William and Margaret Wanamaker. After high school, he pursued higher education in Florida, where he dedicated himself to his studies and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Bill went on to own and operate his own dental practice for many years, providing care to countless individuals with professionalism and warmth until his well-deserved retirement. Those who knew Bill described him as clean, tidy, and well-organized. His attention to detail and gentle demeanor made him a truly exceptional dentist. Outside of his professional life, Bill had a wide range of passions. He found joy in cooking and eating delicious dishes in his kitchen, especially when preparing Italian cuisine. His love for creating culinary masterpieces was matched only by his love for spending time with his grandchildren. Bill cherished moments with his grandkids, taking them to the park, Worlds of Fun, and engaging in delightful tea parties with his granddaughters. In his leisure time, Bill enjoyed immersing himself in the fantastic worlds of entertainment. He was a fan of Guardians of the Galaxy, The Big Bang Theory, and The Star Wars series. He was also a man of faith and regularly attended Abiding Church of God. He was a dedicated bible study student and spent time every single day on his studies.

Bill's legacy will continue to live on through his beloved wife Wanda, his daughter Marlee, his 3 stepdaughters, his stepson, and grandchildren.
