William Frank “Dustin” Hoffman, III, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023. He was 54 years of age.

Dustin was born on July 30, 1968, in Camden, New Jersey, the son of William Frank and Nancy Lee (Elrod) Hoffman, Jr. He was one of three children.

He attended and graduated from Camdenton High School, Camdenton Missouri in the class of 1986 and soon after moved to the Kansas City area where he later obtained his credentials in becoming a certified electrician.

Dustin was a jack of all trades but excelled at wiring alarm systems.  He spent time DJ’ing, loved working on electronics and was a tinkerer at heart, he enjoyed working on cars and his dune buggy, enjoyed music and recently worked at the Midland Theatre where he got to meet some great artists.

He was bubbly, selfless, and the life of the party. Dustin was great at doing impressions and his loving energy filled every room he entered. Our dearest Dustin was well loved, and he will be deeply missed by his family but also his longtime friends Dustin Tewksbury, William “fireman Bill” Howell and Dirk Young.
