Harold Lynn Williams, 65, passed away on March 15, 2016. Private inurnment with full military honors will be held at MO State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO.
Harold was born on May 19, 1950, in Monmouth, Illinois, to Henry Otis and Dorothy Jean (Wolf) McGee. He was raised in Sugar Creek, MO by his aunt Betty and uncle Jack Archie, and attended William Chrisman High School. He enlisted in the Army, and served two and a half years as a door gunner in the Vietnam War. He returned home and began work as a mechanic for Gaslight Auto for 21 years. He also worked for O’Reilly Auto Parts for over 8 years. In his spare time, he loved tinkering with cars, watching TV, and playing on the computer.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Marsha; daughter, Jennifer Brown of Independence; step-son, Jeffrey Culey (wife, Karen) of Independence; 4 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, and 3 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Wallace Culey; his parents; and his aunt and uncle.
