Helen M. Williams

Helen M. Williams, 88, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004. Services will be 10 am Monday, October 25th at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; with graveside service at 2:30 pm Monday in Big Creek Cemetery, Bosworth, MO. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Third Floor Activities Program c/o Sharon Johnson at Rosewood Health Care, or a favorite charity. Helen was born October 21, 1916 in Bogard, MO to Otis and Elsie Robertson. Helen was a homemaker and a member of White Avenue United Methodist Church, member of the Blue Valley Sheltered Workshop Parents Auxiliary, and the Parent Group of Happy Hut Teen Town. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, her husband, Arthur B. Williams, and grandson, Derald Sprague. She is survived by her daughters, Luella Sprague, and Joyce Williams both of Independence, MO; son Robert Williams of Independence, MO; granddaughters, Donella Wilkes, Dianne Evans and husband Jim, Denise Evans and husband Charlie, Deborah Sprague, Donna Bollinger and husband Steve, Dawn Mayse and husband Todd, Lori Lewis and husband Gayle, Michelle Standley and husband Chris; 14 great grandchildren.
