Mary Lou Williams (Lawrence, Fawver), 91 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her residence. Cremation is planned and no services are scheduled. Mary was born March 30, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to John Lawrence, Sr. and Beulah (Rhodes) and has been a lifelong area resident. She had worked as a clerk for the Social Security Administration and before that had worked for Montgomery Wards. She was an avid KC Royals fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church. Mary is survived by; her daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Pat Morris, of the home; stepson Brad and stepdaughter Jennifer; 6 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband Alfred William Fawver, husband, Ewing “Gene” Williams; infant daughter, Linda S. Fawver in 1951, son, Thomas Fawver, Sr. in 2013, grandson Thomas Fawver, Jr. in 2018, beloved niece Sandra Templeton in 2019, sisters Flossie, Helen, Rita, Virginia, Rose, Martha and brother John.
