Robert Williams

Bob Williams, 67, passed away August 15, 2012. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. August 26th at Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street Independence, MO 64055. A visitation will be held from 12:00-1 prior to the service at Speaks Suburban Chapel.
Bob was born September 29, 1944 to Authur and Mary Williams. Bob worked hard, played hard, and fought his battle with cancer even harder. He enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, fishing and traveling. He was a humble man who never demanded accolades. Bob knew when someone was in need and was usually the first to help them.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Freeman. He leaves behind his son, Robert “Bobby” E. Williams II, of Independence, MO; grandson, Derek Williams, of North Carolina; grandson, Alex Williams of Warrensburg, MO; girlfriend, Judy Herold of Kansas City, KS; brother, Bill Williams of Lexington, MO; brother Rick Williams of Colorado; brother, Ben Williams of Independence, MO; sister, Joyce Bankston of Liberty, MO; as well as many nieces and nephews.
