Thelma Mae Williams

Thelma Mae Williams, 82 of Sweet Springs, MO and formerly of Independence, MO where she had lived for 49 years, passed away July 16, 2003 at St. Mary�s Hospital, Blue Springs, MO. Services 10 am Saturday, July 19, 2003 at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home with visitation 7-8:30 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. Mrs. Williams was born July 4, 1921 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Roy and Olive Stahl Cox. She was united in marriage to Bill Williams on July 22, 1939 and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Von Meador, four sisters and four brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie S. Mc Chesney and her husband Dale, Independence, MO and Audrey A. Meador, Sweet Springs, MO, five grandsons, one granddaughter, 2 great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter, several nieces & nephews.
