Thelma N. Williams

Thelma N. Williams, 79, of Independence, MO passed away, Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at her residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9 to 10:00 a.m., Friday morning prior to the service. Thelma was born June 7, 1926 in Kansas City, Mo to Guysick and Marie (Bahr) Rushing. She lived her early life in South Dakota and later returned to the Kansas City area. She had worked as an office administrator for the Jones Store Company for a number of years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the St. Paul�s Lutheran Church. She was married to Mancil Williams, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; 2 sons, Rick Williams and Jerry Williams both of Independence, Mo; a brother, Floyd Rushing of Polo, MO; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Donations may be made to St. Paul�s Lutheran Church.
