Bulah “Mardell” (Evers) Williamson, 90, of Grain Valley, peacefully passed away at home Friday, March 2, 2018. Mardell was born December 19, 1927 in Woodbine, IA to William and Marian (Harper) Evers. Mardell married Jesse George Williamson in 1947, and together raised their daughter, Loretta. Mardell was a deeply religious and spiritual woman who loved studying the Bible. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, most recently the Oak Grove Restoration Branch where she taught Sunday school for many years. Her life revolved around, not only her faith, but of course, her family. Her passion was caring for her home, husband, her daughter and her grandchildren, all of whom brought her so much joy. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta “Lori” Rodopoulos and husband Dimitri of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandsons, Alexe Rodopoulos of Atlanta, GA; and Ari Rodopoulos of Blue Springs, MO; great granddaughter, Stella and great grandson, Leo; siblings, Beverly Penniston and Royce Evers. Mardell was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Jesse G. Williamson.
