Annie Kimak Willis of Tahlequah, OK, formerly of Sugar Creek, MO, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Mar. 29, 2006 at Tahlequah City Hospital. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Sat. Apr. 1, 2006 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 West Lexington, Indep. MO. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 - 8:30 pm, Friday at the chapel. Annie was born Sep. 20, 1912 in Independence, MO to her parents Mike and Mary Kimak, who both immigrated to the United States from Czechoslovakia. She later moved to Louisville, KY and raised two sons, Albert Franklin Willis and Kenneth Michael Willis. Albert who she dearly loved preceded her in death in 1984, Annie later moved back to Sugar Creek, MO and worked at Lake City Ammunition Plant. After her retirement, she moved to Tahlequah, OK to spend the rest of her life with her son, Kenneth Michael and Daughter-in-law, Jan. She was a member of the Saint Basil Catholic Church and Senior Citizens at Tahlequah. While living in Sugar Creek, MO was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church. Annie was preceded in death by her parents Mike & Mary Kimak; three brothers, John, Mike and Frank Kimak all of Sugar Creek. Two sisters, Mary Yatsook of Kansas City, KS and Susan Kimak of Sugar Creek, MO. She is survived by her son Kenneth M. Willis and wife Jan of Tahlequah, OK; her brother, Charles Kimak of Kaneohe, HI; a sister-in-law, Margie Kimak of Sugar Creek, MO; Seven grandchildren, Brenda and Gary Dotson of Buckner, KY; Linda and Pat Brown of Louisville, KY; Debbie and Steve Troutman of Louisville, KY; Rebecca Sullivan of LaGrange, KY; Kim and George Salgado of Broken Arrow, OK; Melissa and Garlan Winford of Marion, IA and Jennifer and Matt Browning of Keller, TX. Fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
