Margaret L. Willoughby, 81, of Kansas City, MO passed away Monday, January 31st at her daughter�s home. Services will be 10:00 am Thursday, February 3rd at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm Wednesday, February 2nd at the chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice. Margaret was born December 10, 1923 in Dover, MO to Deed and Annie (Carry) Markley. She loved to sew, knit and quilt in her spare time and share her creations with family, friends and most recently, with Children�s Mercy Hospital. Margaret and her husband Lloyd spent 13 wonderful years living at the Lake of the Ozarks before returning to Kansas City where they enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors feeding the wild animals. Surviving Margaret are her daughter Sandra Smith of Springfield, OR, son Lee Willoughby of Washington, D.C., daughter and son-in-law Dixie and Tom Kalwei of Raytown, MO, daughter Debbie Culver of Independence, MO, son Randy Willoughby of Texas City, TX; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Mervin Markley of Decatur, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Willoughby was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Willoughby and son Patrick.
